As the Senior Sales Lead – Running/Outdoor, Central Europe you will lead an experienced team to connect the On brand to our consumers and their communities, in partnership with all other Commercial Leads within Central.

You will collaborate cross-functionally, connect with Central & EMEA team members on all levels across the Oniverse. You’ll lead and continue to develop a high performance team through a strategic, dynamic, consumer and team centric leadership approach.

You will report directly to the Head of Sales, Central Europe and be an extension of the Central leadership team.

Your mission

– Lead, support, and mentor a Sales Rep team (4 HCs) to achieve personal and professional goals as part of the Central Europe Commercial leadership team.
– Create, establish & nurture strong relationships with most important Running and Outdoor Specialty accounts as well as the relevant Buying Group NOs within the region.
– Drive and optimize/adjust the Running as well as Outdoor Specialty Strategy for DACH and proactively lead a co-created strategic account planning with the internal Commercial teams that develops a mutual understanding of the consumer and delivers performance objectives, unit / financial targets and strategic initiatives across a 3Y period.
– Be an integral part of business planning in line with Sub-Regional and EMEA strategic and annual plans along product, partner and geographic dimensions and ensure high quality financial forecasting during the year.
– Be a strong contributor / project team member for Central and EMEA wide initiatives.
– Staying ahead of the curve on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
– Leading internal and external account discussions on all levels. Preparing and delivering sales presentations in a meaningful and engaging way.
– Supporting customer cross-functional teams to foster strong relationships, address concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
– Maintaining all sales related budgets with identified retailers.

Your story

– Ideally 5+ yrs experience in a senior sales role or similar strategic client management position; preferably within sports and performance apparel, fashion design or premium consumer goods industries.
– A proven track record for relationship building and B2B partner management to strategically prospect, prioritize and strengthen accounts.
– A very good understanding of the sports and performance industry, including consumer preferences, emerging technologies, and market dynamics. You can anticipate consumer trends and opportunities for growth, and act accordingly.
– Ideally a deep understanding, knowledge and experience within the Running and/or Outdoor speciality market and related products.
– You thrive in collaborative and cross-functional teams. You’re adept at collaborating between external accounts and internal commercial and cross-functional teams.
– You’re a team player always seeking to add value, suggest improvements, and stay ahead of market trends to provide innovative solutions to our partner.
– You’re not afraid to get stuck-in and hands-on when needed.
– You approach problem solving analytically and in a very structured way analyzing data, interpreting trends, and making data informed decisions.
– You’re self motivated, resourceful and proactive, with the ability to work autonomously to bring to life our teams’ commitments with rigor, transparency and discipline.
– You enjoy connecting with customers to present our products, technology and philosophy in an inspiring way and are empowered when presenting to a group
– Very good Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Fluent or C1+ level in German and English both verbally and written as well as strong communication skills.
– Willingness to travel, extensively at time, within Germany, Austria and Switzerland and occasionally across Central Europe (30% travel time)
– Type B driving license and fully comfortable to travel by car for business
