New Balance are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Trade Marketing Manager to lead all of our trade marketing activity across our brand partners in France.
Expected profile.
Profile
👉 At least 6 years of solid experience in Trade Marketing.
👉 With a focus on both online and instore retail environments.
👉 Proven experience in leading and managing a team of marketing professionals, with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
Skills
👉 English and French required.
👉 Strong understanding of both lifestyle and sport performance marketing challenges.
👉 Experience with instore and digital trade marketing tools and techniques.
👉 Proficient in data and reporting tools.
Missions
The Trade Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in managing a team of trade marketing professionals, ensuring a seamless coordination between stakeholders in sales, marketing, ecommerce and retail teams to continuously optimize the customer experience.
1. Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive trade marketing strategy (in-store, online, VM) aligned with overall brand and sales objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales and Retail Teams to align trade marketing strategy with key account plans and owned channel plans, ensuring cohesive activities that enhance the customer journey and drive sell-through.
- Drive innovative initiatives to enhance consumer engagement, brand presence, and revenue growth.
2. Team Leadership and Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and develop the trade marketing team, providing guidance on best practices, campaign execution, and performance optimization.
- Ensure campaigns deliver on set objectives, maintaining consistency across all touchpoints in the omnichannel journey.
- Partner with the EMEA visual merchandising team to ensure a consistent brand presence and develop localized guidelines when necessary for market-specific nuances.
3. Performance and Market Insights
- Track, analyze, and report on trade marketing performance utilizing insights to optimize future strategies and efforts.
- Manage the trade marketing budget,ensuring cost-effectiveness, clear investment priorities, and alignment with market goals.
- Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to adapt and refine strategies.
