- Accountant Record to Report (Fixed Assets) - Kraków

Amer Sports Global Business Services is seeking a Record to Report Accountant (Fixed Assets) to join our dynamic team. If you’re detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering high-quality accounting services, this is your chance to grow within a global company. Your role will focus on key financial processes, ensuring accurate reporting and reconciliation for assigned Amer Sports businesses.

What you will be doing:

• Fixed Assets & Leases: Managing fixed assets and leases, including creating new assets, processing lease contracts under IFRS 16, and ensuring accurate reconciliation of related accounts.
• Financial Operations: Independently handling daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks in the Record to Report (RTR) area, including period-end closing activities as per the group schedule.
• Process Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process enhancements, maintaining documentation, and supporting efficient operations.
• Collaboration: Working closely with customer service, sales teams, and financial controllers to resolve issues and discrepancies.
• Audit Support: Assisting with interim and year-end audits and contributing to other accounting tasks and projects as needed.

What you need to succeed:

• A solid educational background in Accounting or Finance.
• At least 2 years of experience in RTR/GL departments, with exposure to fixed assets and leases.
• Familiarity with IFRS 16 is a plus.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken) and strong knowledge of Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong time management abilities and a flexible approach to work.
• A team player with excellent communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Self-directed and innovative mindset. 
• Eagerness to take ownership of projects and responsibilities, driving personal and professional growth.
• Experience working in diverse, international settings or with global teams.
• Excellent communication skills for clearly conveying ideas and collaborating with various stakeholders.
