We’re looking for an outstanding Strategic Account Manager to join our The North Face Digital team.  This role could be based in either the UK or our Stabio office in Switzerland.

As Strategic Account Manager within our Digital team, you will be able to shape the Brand future in one of our key EMEA markets. The role has the ultimate end responsibility for achieving all the key Strategic Account goals and reports to the Digital Lifestyle Senior Manager.
You are the account lead and ultimately responsible to ensure all opportunities in the areas of sales, marketing, product and operations are heard and quantified.

How You Will Make a Difference:

The primary goal is to ensure that all seasonal and yearly quantitative and qualitative objectives are met and aligned to the overall EMEA/Digital strategy while maintaining the authenticity and integrity of the brand.
We expect you to deliver unbeatable results whilst also fulfilling the following aspects of the role:   

  • Develop an account plan built on a strong partnership, excellent KPI management and in alignment with our brand priorities and the wider EMEA Go-To-Market strategy.
  • Ensure deep knowledge of the market to define pricing strategy and quantify key opportunities. 
  • Lead the development of account specific marketing plan. 
  • Drive the seasonal selling Go-To-Market process, including assortment planning and segmentation to ensure market differentiation. 
  • Planning seasonal and annual sales budgets and maintain the monthly sales forecasting in line with agreed targets – with a strong focus on ‘Gross to Net’ management.
  • Analysing sales performance by item, division, use this knowledge and trend direction to provide recommendations to maximize opportunities and limit liabilities.
  • Leading, owning and expanding our market share to drive sustainable and profitable growth.

What you need to succeed

A formal education and subsequent University Bachelor or Master’s degree in Business and Economics are nice to have, but we are most interested in your total experience and professional achievements. That’s why:

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years key account management or similar experience in FMCG or a major sports/outdoor brand.
  • You will have a deep knowledge or understanding of the European sporting goods and/or outdoor industry and values.
  • You will have experience with and understanding of outdoor/sportswear consumers and preferably be an active sports participant.
  • You will have skill in crafting and maintaining mutual strategic plans and frequently measuring execution, whilst creating exceptional customer relationships at all levels.
  • You will be analytical and strategic, with the ability to see the strength of using facts for decisions.
  • You will be a high energy, goal oriented and driven individual who is great at getting things done!
  • High level excel skills an advantage
