VF Corporation is looking for a Senior Manager Commercial Expansion to exand our commercial footprint across different countries and cultures in the EMEA regions. The role is based in Stabio, Ticino – CH.
Let’s talk about the role!
The Senior Manager Commercial Expansion drives and executes initiatives to grow VF’s market presence across the EMEA region. In this role, you will focus on business development, strategic project execution and operational leadership to ensure the successful implementation of commercial strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams within VF and report directly to Commercial Expansion's leader.
You will play a critical role in current and future business development projects, which will include market expansion, opening new distribution channels, developing new geographical partnerships in underpenetrated markets, etc.
What will you do:
- Business development: lead the identification and the development of new business opportunities, partnerships and market entry strategies in close alignment with the leader of Commercial Expansion
- Strategy implementation: drive the development and the execution of commercial expansion plans and initiatives, with a focus on:
- Expansion of Eren Group: a long term opportunity for VF’s incremental business growth in the CIS region
- Execution of Project Helios: a strategic change of business model to inject new growth in Greece
- Transformation of VF Israel and Russia: potential new streams of growth for VF in those markets
- Other commercial expansion projects in pipeline
- Operational leadership: provide operational leadership for commercial initiatives, including project management and coordination with various Brand and Functions departments
- Performance tracking: influence and report on the progresses of commercial initiatives, including key performance indicators and market feedback
- Financial analysis: oversee budget management and financial analysis to support commercial decision-making in the assigned areas
What you need to succeed?
To be impactful, you must have extended and proven commercial experience managing sales and strategic projects, with exposure to multiple functions, countries, and cultures.
Influencing and networking skills are critical for the role, as well as business acumen and the ability to understand financial and sales data and to use them to design action plans.
Other success factors are:
- Passion for our brands and the category they represent, strong consumers mindset and knowledge
- Experience across Eastern Europe/Middle East/North Africa countries
- Fluent in English, any additional foreign languages would be considered is a plus
- Proactive and Leading by example approach
- Willingness and possibility to travel across all EMEA regions
