With a strong expertise in marketing and consumer engagement, you contribute to the growth of an innovative brand in the running and outdoor industry. As a Shopper Activation Specialist at Salomon, you enhance brand visibility, create impactful consumer experiences, and drive sell-through with our strategic partners in Germany.

Your main goal :

Enhance consumer experience, brand visibility and sell-through at point of sale together with premium partners, local key opinion leaders and our retail stores with a focus in our epicenters.

Your missions : 

  • Customer Engagement: Collaborate with sales and customer teams to develop strong sell-through solutions that are inline with joint customer plans
  • Drive Sell-Through: Deliver key activations at POS supporting relevant campaigns at relevant wholesale partner and our own stores
  • Shine Instore: Support of trade marketing plan to highlight/master brand presence instore
  • Retail Initiatives: Coordinate store openings, promotional actions, and visual merchandising programs.
  • Event / Activation: plan, execute and report consumer-facing events (programs) with focus in epicenters
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor KPIs, digital ROI, and provide actionable reports to local and EMEA leadership.
  • Collaboration / Network: Create, activate, and grow influencing communities in our epicenters. Collaborate with local opinion leaders in key cities to address new consumers

 

Qualifications

Essential skills & experience 

  • 1-3 years shopper/trade marketing experience in leading branded consumer goods in FMCG or leading Sporting Goods.
  • Experience in working directly with accounts and sports industry experience are a plus
  • Relevant education in university and/or business school course work, Bachelor degree in Business with focus on marketing preferred.

 

Essential competencies 

  • Understanding of wholesale and own retail business 
  • Understanding of consumer/shopper behavior
  • Budget planning and tracking, vendor management
  • Understanding of brand, marketing & shopper concepts
  • Understanding and analyzing of trade marketing KPIs

 

  • Foreign languages: Fluent in English, proficiency in German mandatory 
  • Computer skills: command of Microsoft Office, graphic/ design programs are a plus

Permanent contract, Full Time

Job located in Garching, Germany 

Driving licence – You will be asked to travel around Germany to meet with our key account and premium partners
