In short

You will oversee and conduct training activities in coordination with the Store Leads and In Store Trainers reporting to the Senior Lead – Retail Training and act as a key partner to the Senior Lead – Retail in the region. You will deliver engaging and impactful training through in-store interventions, classroom training, and promoting the adoption of the Digital Training App.

Your mission

– Analyze store teams’ performance and skills to identify training needs together with the Store Leaders and Senior Lead – Retail RoAPAC
– Develop a training plan and calendar for On retail stores in your area, taking in consideration seasonality and business objectives
– Create and deliver learning content, draft communications and follow up with post training quizzes and surveys for our store teams
– Organize trainings according to local training plan (training venue, logistics, invites, etc)
– Responsible for the retail onboarding program (Advisors, Leadership) and supporting new starters’ integration in store
– This is a field role based in store and dedicated to training. You will be required to travel to the different stores with opportunities to visit other local/regional locations

Your story

– You have at least 1 -2 years experience deploying/facilitating content to retail audiences in person, virtually and/or via a digital platform
– You have a keen eye for observing, commenting and providing feedback on how to achieve retail excellence, and are able to channel your observations to retail partners accordingly
– You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively both in Japanese and in English
– You have a passion for learning and developing talent, as well as learning rapidly and eagerly yourself
– You have an entrepreneurial mindset to deliver innovative programs, as you are resourceful, nimble, and creative with limited resources

Meet the team

You will be based out of On’s Tokyo Cat Street store and will be responsible for coordinating and delivering all levels of training to Tokyo and surrounding area stores.
Together with the Senior Lead – Retail RoAPAC and the Senior Lead – Retail Training, you will set training priorities for each store and execute global programs accordingly and timely. You will coordinate the work of the In Store Trainers within your area and will divide your time between facilitating training, coaching, and developing teams on the sales floor.
