VF Corporation is looking for an exceptional Senior Specialist Order to Cash to join our EMEA Head of Accounting and Controlling team based in Stabio, Switzerland

Let’s talk about the role!     

Job summary – In this role you will be part of the Retained Team reporting to the EMEA Head of Accounting and Controlling. You will work closely with the OTC Lead governing the cash application in compliance with VF standards and you will be the single point of contact for the activities managed by our outsourced BPO team.

You will be responsible for:

• GL Cash Accounts reconciliation with strong focus on timeliness and compliance
• OTC point of contact for any operational task in case of issues or escalation
• Monitoring and measurement of the effectiveness of BPO Team execution (SLA, KPI, process improvements)
• Collaboration with external parties (customers, payment providers) and internal stakeholders (Technical and Business teams) for new projects or enhancements of existing processes

Skills for Success

The candidate needs to have the ability to understand and manage complex reconciliation path, working to identify and solve any issue or mismatch to guarantee a compliant accounting process for cash allocation activities. You can make the difference with a high level of problem-solving attitude and good communication skills. Ability to work in team will be a strong prerequisite.

• List of Soft/Hard Competences
• The ability to deal with General Accounting and Finance process, including SOX testing. Knowledge of main ERP systems.
• An understanding of Financial Statement dynamics is an important prerequisite.
• An expertise in effective transactional reporting and analyses
• A good Customer focus attitude with a good business acumen
• Ability to work in team with a high level of adaptability
