This role is located in Shanghai covers the APAC region (markets of China mainland, Hongkong, Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia and countries in South East Asia).

Our Talent (HR) team is expanding with the growth of On and we are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team. You will have the opportunity to shape On’s people agenda collaborating with the team on a variety of people related topics and providing efficient and effective support to employees and leaders. We are looking for someone with an eye for detail, efficiency and optimisation, who thrives in a fast-paced environment, and who is skilled at thinking outside the box.

Your mission

– You will own recruiting efforts for our APAC region, developing a deep understanding of our business and talent priorities and support your recruiting team in achieving these across all functions and markets.

– You will lead the team to develop and implement sourcing and hiring strategies when the business is entering into new markets to ensure that On will present in the right way as an employer.

– You will manage, coach and develop a talented and high performing team

– You will work closely with our APAC leadership teams to adopt best practices, champion diversity and ensure we grow and scale in the right way

– You will be expected to stay close to the market and be hands-on, responsible for end to end recruiting on certain key and business critical positions

– You will be expected to utilize the latest technologies and knowledge to provide data driven insights and markets’ insights to innovate our TA practices.

– You will be expected to initiative and drive projects where needed to tackle the short-term challenges and meet the long term needs.

– You will work together with your colleagues across the global Talent team and participate in or own multiple strategic Talent projects

Your story

– You are truly passionate about recruiting and would go out of your way to ensure a high-touch, ‘wow’ experience for candidates

– You have at least 7+ years of experience leading high performing teams

– No challenge is too big for you, you have a creative and innovative approach to problem solving and are quick in finding solutions

– You believe in building a strategic function with deep business understanding, strong partnership and collaborative relationships

– You enjoy creating a supportive team environment and sharing your expertise and insights to coach and develop individuals

– Building up employer branding experience is a must.

– Deep knowledge and experience in retail is a plus.
