We are seeking a motivated Senior Assistant Store Manager to join our Munich team. An outdoor enthusiast, capable to support the Store Manager in the daily operations of the store. This includes the responsibility of assisting in achieving sales goals, meeting merchandising standards and excellence in customer service, delivering operational excellence through leading and empowering a high performing team and building a loyal consumer base. He will be one of the key persons in the Munich team, working directly with global HQ in Japan to growth the Goldwin brand and business in Munich.

JOB DESCRIPTION.
We are looking for a Senior Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manger in leading the Munich store, overseeing daily operations and developing the best methods for achieving service, sales, and operational objectives. He will effectively and actively work on increasing the customer base and the local community. He will be responsible for motivating the sales team to fulfill sales goals and to provide excellent customer service and for upholding the operational and organizational standards of the store. He will be capable of training new staff, and taking on other administrative tasks as needed, such as monitoring inventory levels. He is expected at times to provide full leadership over the store, having the same knowledge as the Store Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES.
– Oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure customer satisfaction. Assist the Store Manager in all retail store functions.
– Deliver exceptional customer service, by being knowledgeable on all products offered and training and motivating the staff, always delivering the brand vision.
– Partner with the Store Manager to establish all critical metrics and expectations within the store, including but not limited to sales, visual, operations, safety, human resources, scheduling, and training.
– Be responsible together with the Store Manager for communicating and reporting to Japanese headquarter with weekly reports on sales, buying trends, customer needs, store operations and team management.
– Be responsible for day-to-day store operations and employee’s management, including to train and oversee new staff leading the induction and training process. Contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment
– Be responsible for product inventory management, executing monthly merchandise plans and monitoring sell- through, maintaining outstanding visual merchandising standards and a welcoming store atmosphere. Protect our products by greeting customers, attaching/detaching security tags, monitoring floor merchandise, reporting shrinkage and security violations, etc. Check inventory on daily basis and restock when necessary to ensure that all products are available for customers.
– Fully involved in building a retail marketing strategy together with Japanese headquarters.
– Be passionate about creating local communities relevant to our brand through our store.
– Coordinate E-commerce operation done within the store.
– Coordinate social media operations together with the staff (instagram posting/email newsletter sending/local content creation)
– Planning and execution of local events and roll out of local marketing strategy in collaboration with marketing
team.
REQUIREMENTS.
– Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in a retail/customer service environment.
– Understand and resonate with Goldwin philosophy.
– Managing people, store operations and store environment to achieve sales, service, customer satisfaction and profitability goals. Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising techniques.
– Maintain store and brand image by complying to Goldwin dress code and attitude, with an eye for creativity.
– Strong communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skills. Have passion for customer service and providing an exceptional experience for all customers, delivering them our quality, value, design and brand message.
– Leadership skills and an empathetic approach to management, leading, motivating and mentoring store staff.
– Always represent and promote the brand positively and professionally.
– Able to communicate with Japanese headquarter. (Including time differences) Reporting daily/weekly sales report to headquarters.
– Expected to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
– Understanding performance metrics and KPIs to optimize store sales.
PREFERED KNOWLEDGES AND CAPABILITIES.
– At least 2 years experience working in a retail environment in a mid/senior position.
– Keen to current or upcoming product trends. (both for fashion and sports)
– Have passion and knowledge for outdoor activities such as skiing, hiking, and running.
– Demonstrate effective interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
– Local connection and familiarity with Munich communities,
– Post-secondary-education
– Able and willing to comply with Goldwin dress code as well as brand image.
– Able to stand/walk for extended periods of time, necessary to provide sales floor coverage related to customer service and able to manage product display, maintenance and inventory restock from stockroom to store.

SCHEDULE.
Hours expectation: 40 hours (5 days/week)
Store opening hours: 11:00-19:00 – 6 days per week.
