- Senior Accountant – Record to Report (Intercompany & Inventory) - Kraków

Amer Sports Global Business Services is looking for a Senior Accountant – Record to Report to join our Intercompany & Inventory team. If you’re an experienced accounting professional with a sharp eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a proactive approach, this role is for you! You will play a key role in financial reporting, account reconciliation, invoice processing, and inventory-related transactions, ensuring high-quality accounting services for Amer Sports businesses worldwide. What you will be doing:

• Intercompany & Inventory Accounting: Managing intercompany transactions, ensuring proper reconciliation, and supporting inventory-related financial processes.
• Balance Sheet & General Ledger Management: Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, monitoring and clearing GL accounts (focused on AR/AP and inventory).
• Invoice & Payment Processing: Booking AR and AP invoices and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
• Month-End Closing & Reporting: Performing closing tasks in line with the group schedule and supporting the Reporting Team to ensure compliance with corporate deadlines.
• Process Improvement & Compliance: Identifying and driving process improvements while ensuring adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration & Team Support: Working closely with customer service, sales teams, and financial controllers to resolve discrepancies. Assisting with audits, maintaining process documentation, and mentoring less experienced team members.

What you need to succeed:

• 6+ years of professional accounting experience, including 4+ years in general ledger roles.
• Educational background in accounting, finance, or economics, with practical knowledge of accounting/auditing.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Previous experience in intercompany transactions, inventory processes, SAP Finance, and Blackline reconciliation tools (or similar).
• Strong skills in MS Excel and excellent time management & organizational abilities.
• A detail-oriented, proactive mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• A team player with strong communication skills who enjoys working in an evolving, international environment.
• Eagerness to take ownership of projects and responsibilities, driving personal and professional growth.
• Experience working in diverse, international settings or with global teams.
