Join Amer Sports Global Business Services as a Senior Accountant Record to Report, where you’ll provide high-quality accounting services, support cash flow forecasting, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across our global operations.

What you will be doing:

• Banks & Treasury Operations: Manage tasks related to banking, treasury, and cash pooling, optimizing cash resources and ensuring compliance with the company’s risk management strategies.
• Cash Flow Forecast: Develop and Prepare accurate cash flow forecast.
• General Ledger & Reconciliation: Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations for legal entities in scope, ensuring accuracy during period-end closings.
• Intercompany: Assisting with Short- and Long-Term Intercompany Settlements and Transactions.
• Operational Excellence: Independently handle daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks, contributing to team success and delivering on deadlines.
• Audit & Compliance: Support interim and year-end audits, maintain process documentation, and ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulations.
• Process Improvement: Contribute to global process standardization, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions for operational enhancements.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and implement best practices.
• Team Leadership: Provide guidance to junior team members and support the supervisor with reviews and ad-hoc tasks.
• Project Management: Lead and assist with treasury-related projects and initiatives.

What you need to succeed:

• Experience & Expertise:
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in accounting, with 4+ years in general ledger accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury management systems (e.g., Integrity/Kyriba) and banks/treasury processes.
  • Experience with cash flow forecasting, cash pooling techniques, and risk management strategies for hedging programs.
  • Proficiency in SAP Finance and reconciliation tools like Blackline.
• Skills:
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving mindset.
  • Excellent task and time management skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proactive, self-driven approach with the ability to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Planning and organizational skills to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Languages & Education:
  • Very good written and spoken English.
  • Background in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Self-directed and innovative mindset. 
• Eagerness to take ownership of projects and responsibilities, driving personal and professional growth.
• Experience working in diverse, international settings or with global teams.
• Excellent communication skills for clearly conveying ideas and collaborating with various stakeholders.
