JOB MISSION:
The Regional Retail Trainer will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying training programs for owned, 3rd party and distributor retail employees in their region. This person will provide coaching and support for retail staff and assist with wholesale customer training, as needed, to help drive brand objectives. The training topics will vary from product training to sales, retail operations, H&S and customer service. The regional retail trainer will report to the Retail Training Manager EMEA.
We offer hybrid working and flexibility to working hours to accommodate for a healthy work life balance. Ideal candidates will complete admin tasks 1 day per week from either home/local store with the remaining 3 days visiting other stores, and 1 day working from home. Regular travel will be involved in this role. Candidates must have a full driving license.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Work with the Retail Training Manager to identify and prioritize retail training needs aligned to business objectives.

Produce and deliver high quality learning materials

Foster a learning culture within the retail environment.

Bi-weekly call with the training champions in your region to track development and identify local store needs.

Monthly call with other regional trainers to discuss regional updates and best practices

Lead the new store opening training.

Coaching of the store training champions and making sure we deliver best in class customer service

Track Completion rate of online training courses and follow up to validate learning process.

Review sales performance by product and identify potential areas for improvement, prioritize and drive improvements.

Actively research and maintain knowledge of new products (including competitors), new brands, technologies, materials and features.

Share best practices in the region and provide feedback whenever necessary.

Ensure that materials are always up to date and re-use them where necessary.
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

Relevant number of years of experience in a training role, preferably in the retail/sales sector.

Stong self-motivation and ability to plan time, manage multiple projects, achieve goals and objectives, spot problems and find solutions.

Ability to contribute positively to a learning environment where people are supported and encouraged to excel.

Experience within a retail learning and training environment to include analysis, design, build, delivery, evaluation of a range of training programs for retail.

Flexible, able to adapt to the needs of the company’s project.

Commercial knowledge of the retail market and consumer trends.

Strong interest in the sports and fashion industry.

Highly influential, engaging and persuasive in communications.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Demonstrated experience delivering learning experiences through a variety of formats including in person instructor led; virtual instructor led; self-directed learning paths and advanced facilitation.

Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint).

Able to travel within the region. This job will require some travel to our stores and when not traveling you will work from home/NB store.

Full, valid, UK driving license.
