We are seeing a dynamic individual to manage the planning, analysis and purchasing of the seasonal ranges from initial planning to sell through for the Running Footwear category. The ideal candidate will be the planning point of reference for marketplace channel.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Support and being part of the DTC Planning Team in developing financial strategies and seasonal product assortment plans. Meet consumers demand by optimise stock availability and maximise sales opportunities across Retail, Digital Market Place and Ecom.

  • Translate the overall merchandising strategy to assortment strategy to determine the right product mix.

  • Responsible of the monthly re-forecasts on sales, inventory and intake (WSSI) for your own categories. Creation of ladder plans for non-seasonal products including risk assessment.

  • Drive conclusion and propose trading activities to reduce the inventory level and maximise sales and profitability.

  • In-season analysis to aid strategic decisions on product mixes, marketing campaigns, product launches and mark downs.

  • Ad hoc analysis on all channels and GBU’s and for other collaborators within the business.

  • Responsible for weekly margin checks and product onboarding for marketplace channel.

  • Participate in budget planning and forecasting for the marketplace channel, ensuring that financial goals are met, and profitability is enhanced.

  • Collaborate with Merchandising and Allocation teams to ensure accurate inventory records and ensure timely replenishment of products on marketplaces to meet customer demand; monitor product availability and proactively address stockouts or overstocks considering full DTC channels and wholesale, and our profitability.

  • Build a strong relationship with the different collaborators (Demand Planning, E-commerce – Retail and MP Teams, Merchandising and Allocation).

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 3/4 years’ experience in a planning/analytic role, preferably within product-financial merchandising

  • Excellent Retail math and analytical skills within a consumer-focused industry

  • Advanced Excel user

  • Great communication skills at all levels

  • Experience within the digital environment will be considered as an advantage

  • Ability to cope with multiple active projects

  • Enjoys working collaboratively, as part of a team and building strong working relationships

  • Entrepreneurial and process building approach
