Job Description

We are looking for our enthusiatic Influencer Marketing Manager Executive!

This person will act as the face of Salomon Winter Sports, representing Salomon with the influential community with a focus on Ski, Nordic skiing and Snowboard. 

The main responsibilities of the role will be:

Brand Representation:

  • Act as the primary representative of Salomon to influencers, partners, events, federations, and national sports authorities.
  • Lead and manage local sports programs, including ambassadors and partnerships.

Ambassador Coordination:

  • Serve as the key contact for ambassadors, coordinating their training and fostering regular contact.
  • Develop the ambassador community in key sports epicenters.

Event Planning and Execution:

  • Plan and implement key events, demos, tests, and promotional activities.
  • Ensure quality implementation of marketing tools by influencers and ambassadors.
  • Manage relationships with vertical media and oversee media plans.

Sport Epicenter Activation:

  • Execute the local “How to Win” WSE plan, working with key ski resorts to boost presence, influence, and sales.
  • Recommend strategies and drive Salomon’s presence at practice and purchase locations in resorts.
  • Oversee specialty door activations, including trade programs, tests, and demos.
  • Lead consumer-facing events such as community activities, demos, clinics, and partnerships, and be present on-site during major events.

WSE Marketing Interlocutor:

  • Participate in the I2C process and provide feedback to HQ/WSE.
  • Engage actively in the IMM/Ambassador community, sharing and utilizing best practices.
  • Ensure the quality of the Salomon toolbox provided by HQ.
  • Track and analyze sports and influencer marketing KPIs.

 

 

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold a Marketing degree or equivalent and have 3 years’ experience in the specific sports community or overall Marketing environment, strong background of the consumer & influencing area. A knowledge of the Nordic product category is a plus.

Languages: Native in German, fluent in English.

  • Process Orientation: the ideal candidate will be able to anticipate needs for new processes and implement these.
  • Relationship Building: the ideal candidate will be able to understand other people’s motivation and find mutual connections, as well as show good level of sensitivity and nurture stakeholders relationships.
  • Innovation: the ideal candidate will study the competitors to understand what improvements are needed to catch-up or surpass their level of performance.

Computer skills: command of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.
