The Role:
We are looking for a maternity leave cover for the period of 9 months minimum.
HOKA is activating an ambitious programme of consumer events, with approximately 30 events per year in Europe, in all running disciplines: trail, road and triathlon: Semi de Paris, Frankfurt Marathon, UTMB World Series, HOKA Les Templiers, IRONMAN World Series, Challenge Roth, Paris, London and Berlin Marathons among others.
Our activation plans gather product testing, sales, impactful and memorable experiences.
The Events Marketing Assistant Manager serves as an event marketing expert through managing, developing, and executing strategic event partnerships that enhance the visibility of the brand to consumers.
The portfolio of event partnerships is defined according to the HOKA events strategy and the contracts in place with a focus on road and triathlon events. The role reports into the EMEA Senior Events Manager, who will be leading the events channel and defining the projects.
We are looking for someone to join us in Italy, Germany, UK, France or the Netherlands.

What you will do:
- Managing the event partnership projects and being responsible for their overall planning and execution
- Working with the HOKA Events team to amplify and execute the event partnerships in alignment with the regional and global strategy, and the brand expectations considering commercial and marketing objectives
- Being the day-to-day contact with event organisers and relevant stakeholders (both external and internal, including agencies)
- Keeping the project tracker up to date to insure clear visibility at any time and best-in class execution
- Providing regular project updates to internal stakeholders and delivering high-quality project plans
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with internal teams, contractors and events staff, athletes, and brand ambassadors
- Leading the marketing amplification and building strong activation plans around the event partnerships
- Investigating and developing strong and bold participant experiences, that are relevant to the consumers we target
- Energising and leading the team during project execution
- Managing marketing budget effectively and building strong reporting processes to show how investment has directly impacted the project objectives
- Tracking and reporting key significant achievements within the projects, with monthly to quarterly round ups shared with the Senior Events Manager

We would Love to Hear from People with:
- Experience in project management, sports marketing events, marketing and/or consumer experience
- An affinity with the HOKA brand
- Experience working effectively in a global organization, dealing with complexity and a diverse set of stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- English and one language of a key market in EMEA
- Able to work flexible hours and travel in line with the needs of the business
