JOB MISSION:

We are seeking an analytical and agile Ecommerce Trading Specialist within the EMEA Direct to Consumer organization, headquartered in Amsterdam, to support the Ecommerce Trading team in carrying out various strategies and projects associated to the EMEA Ecommerce Trading roadmap. Reporting into the Senior Ecommerce Trader, this position will help drive the digital commercial strategy, with the aim of optimizing day to day activity to improve digital sales across the Nordics websites, as well as supporting the teams by coordinating campaign planning and execution.

You will be a trader at heart, read the market, align trading and marketing activity and be able to provide strategic recommendations for the business whilst ensuring we deliver premium brand experience. As an Ecommerce Specialist, you will assist in developing and driving the trade of online channels to increase sales, as well as working closely with the customer experience and operations teams to identifying the conversion opportunities on the ecommerce platform throughout the customer’s journey.

The Trade team are integral to the successful performance of our DTC ecommerce websites. Coordinating all key partners within the ecommerce landscape, they aim to ensure a best-in-class shopping experience whilst maintaining localized commercial relevance and brand identity to hit revenue targets.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Owner of the campaign readiness process; ensuring in-stock position to support campaigns, creation of the campaigns on airtable, co-ordination of all stake holders within the planning and execution process and calendar updates.

  • Own the monthly calendar planning process, presenting back the Trade Team’s localized planning to the wider ecommerce team.

  • Supporting the Traders on the creation of EMEA trade pack and analysis focusing on the Nordics markets.

  • Producing reports on, and analysing product data, stock levels, sell-through rates and competitor activity.

  • Working closely with the planning/merchandising team to find opportunities on sorting and feature product placement on our top categories, as well as demonstrating website analytics (GA360) in collaboration with the Ecommerce Operations Team.

  • Identify locally relevant trends, site features and functionalities in the Nordics markets (e.g. cultural moments or events as Gothenburg Half Marathon) and work with teams to implement on the website.

  • Leveraging website analytics (GA4) to understand performance and customer interaction with categories, featured product placement, and general online shopping experiences to help find opportunities and wins.

  • Building relationship with the local Nordics Marketing, Wholesale and Product teams to create efficiency and acting as the main point of contact for all Nordics-related site queries.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • Several years of experience in Ecommerce or in a fast-trading environment, ideally as a digital merchandiser, trader or in a related field.

  • Familiarity of the latest ecommerce trends and techniques.

  • Commercial awareness, willingness to learn and excellent attention to detail.

  • Works well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Highly organized, with an ability to coordinate delivery in collaboration with several teams.

  • English proficiency is a must, written and oral, other language is a plus.

  • Experience with web analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) and highly proficient in Excel, experience with AirTable is a plus.

  • Applicants need to be based in The Netherlands.
