- Cash Collection Specialist - Kraków

Hybrid, Krakow, Poland, 2nd shift (working hours 3-11PM)

Join us as a Cash Collection (Junior) Specialist, where your strong sense of ownership and attention to detail will help manage and collect outstanding accounts from wholesale customers. You’ll monitor aging accounts, resolve credit hold issues, and address customer queries via calls and emails. Collaborating with internal teams, you’ll work closely with the Credit Manager and follow up on overdue accounts, negotiate payment plans, and maintain accurate records. You’ll also train new joiners and update procedures to ensure smooth operations. If you’re ready to make an impact, this role is for you!

What you will be doing:

• Monitor aging on a daily basis and manage the portfolio.
• Review orders on hold and resolve credit hold issues.
• Address any customer queries concerning billing, orders, credit notes, etc.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers.
• Respond to emails from internal teams (Sales, CX, other ITC teams) and customers.
• Cooperate with the Credit Manager (on an ad hoc basis and collection calls).
• Contact customers with overdue accounts to collect past due balances or negotiate an acceptable payment plan.
• Use internet searches and other tools to locate customers who have been unresponsive.
• Follow up with overdue accounts on a regular basis.
• Maintain records of all collection activities.
• Conduct on-the-job training for new joiners.
• Execute an employee backup plan.
• Create and/or update desktop procedures.

What you need to succeed:

• Willingness to work the second shift (3-11 PM).
• Eagerness to take ownership of projects and responsibilities, driving personal and professional growth.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to approach challenges with a critical and innovative mindset.
• Proficiency in English.
• Basic knowledge of collections procedures and credit policies.
• Basic Excel knowledge (filtering and sorting data imported from SAP, basic calculations, formatting cells, keyboard shortcuts, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of SAP transactions and other tools/applications required for the job.
• Excellent communications skills
