Your mission

China Focus:
– Lead the retail accountant team and managed retail-related finance tasks, such as supervising monthly closing and reconciliations, improving the current internal processes, etc.
– Actively influence and contribute to the E-commerce business and improve the automation level.
– Corporate closely with business partners (retail team and E-commerce team) to be well-prepared for fast-paced growth.
– Manage the retail accountant team to ensure they have the necessary knowledge and capability to succeed in their roles.

Rest of APAC:
– Create the reconciliation template for all retail stores in the rest of APAC (Hong Kong, Australia, Korea)
– Take over the DTC-E (webshop) tasks from the global accounting team
– Be responsible for month-end closing activities related to the retail stores and E-commerce in the rest of APAC to ensure it is in line with the global calendars.
– Be the representative of the Finance team in the new store opening process. Contribute in the creation of financial processes for the new stores and actively involved in the preparation stage.
– Manage the cross-communication with several teams, including the global retail tech team, the global system team, the local retail team, and the external consultants if needed.

Your story

– Experience with the retail industry is a “Must”
– A strong educational background and proven work experience in accounting/finance
– Leadership experience and decision-making skills
– Strong communication skills within a global organization
– The ability of easily multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment and prioritize between multiple tasks
– Motivation to be part of building up state-of-the-art accounting function
– Fluency in Chinese and English both written and spoken.
– Experience with the D365 system is desirable
– Japanese or Korean speaking is a plus
